Assessing Public Transportation in Belo Horizonte

We traveled to Belo Horizonte this week to introduce Promise Tracker to civil society group NossaBH and members of their network. Working with the organization’s leadership, university students, local architects and a rep from the city transportation authority, we developed 2 campaigns to monitor goals related to the new bus system.
The first campaign focused on handicap accessibility in stations, the second on the accuracy of arrival times posted on new electronic displays. Initial data is up on the Promise Tracker site for accessibility and estimated arrival times.
