Tracking sidewalk issues in Moema

On Saturday we accompanied a group organized by the residents association in the São Paulo neighborhood of Moema.
We gathered in a cake shop with an eclectic group including local business owners, participatory councilors, a representative from the local branch of city hall and residents ages 22 to 70 including lawyers, engineers, designers and super active participants of Nossa São Paulo’s school of government. The group was organized to map issues with sidewalks in the neighborhood and explore how Promise Tracker could be used to engage local residents more actively in caring for the neighborhood.
This was the first Promise Tracker workshop organized independently by a participant in our co-design sessions over the past year. It will be exciting to see how the tool is adopted in Moema to monitor other issues in the future!
